About the Role
As the Mowing Crew Leader, you will be at the forefront of our landscaping operations, overseeing and directing the mowing crew to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Your leadership will play a key role in creating and maintaining well-groomed outdoor spaces for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:
-Lead and supervise the mowing crew, assigning tasks and ensuring a smooth workflow.
-Coordinate with team members to accomplish daily and weekly objectives.
Quality Control:
-Conduct regular inspections to ensure that mowing services meet or exceed established quality standards.
-Provide guidance and feedback to crew members for continuous improvement.
Training and Development:
-Train new crew members on proper mowing techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
-Foster a positive learning environment to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Equipment Management:
-Oversee the proper operation, maintenance, and storage of mowing equipment.
-Conduct routine checks to identify and address equipment issues promptly.
Client Communication:
-Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
-Address client concerns or special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Scheduling and Logistics:
-Collaborate with the scheduling team to plan and organize daily routes.
-Ensure timely arrival at job sites and efficient completion of tasks.
Safety Compliance:
-Enforce and uphold safety protocols and guidelines to protect crew members and equipment.
-Conduct regular safety meetings and address any safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience in a leadership role within the landscaping or lawn care industry.
In-depth knowledge of mowing techniques, equipment, and landscaping practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the field.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
